About US

Dakor Salesian Society was established in the year 1981. Form the inception, in keeping with the charisma of its Father and Founder Don Bosco, DSS has been committed to reaching out to the poor and marginalized youth in the geographical area of its operations.

At Dakor Salesian Society, our priorities are primarily academic; we prepare students for the State level examinations. However, our children do not only achieve qualifications by merely passing examinations, we also have another agenda…one that goes far beyond classrooms. We create a milieu where our children discover reading, literature, history, structured inquisitiveness, logical discourse, artistic sensibility, the splendor of music, the grandeur of theatre, the grace of dance and folk art, learning from other cultures, concern for the poor and underprivileged, communion with God and much more that marks each one “a whole person” and a gentler human being. We go to any length to achieve this…yoga, music, dance, scouting, computers…

Put in a nutshell, we aspire to create a responsible citizen for the future. So for Dakorians the FUTURE is NOW.
